We have the space for all of it in the allure of our 1956 stunning art-deco venue. \n\n\n\nAbout the band:The Caledonians Big Band was founded in 1942 and has always played a significant role in the history of jazz in the Zaan region\, right up to the present day. Without interruption\, this Zaan swing band—comprising 21 amateur and professional musicians—has been rehearsing\, performing\, and making its mark ever since. The orchestra is now led by pianist Emiel Bothenius and sounds and swings like never before. The music consists of swinging pieces from the repertoire of the great swing bands\, including Count Basie\, Glenn Miller\, and Tommy Dorsey\, and is perfect for listening to\, but of course also ideal for dancing!
