This is where the party is happening\, so come and groove with us. \n\n\n\n-Program:21h Bar open for drinks 21h Opening Concert at the Lobby by MATHIEU NAJEAN & HOUSE BAND!22h Jam session! \n\n\n\nAbout the band:Mathieu Najean began his musical career by learning the classical bassoon in Angoulême\, where he grew up. He also began playing jazz\, a few years later on the tenor saxophone. He studied jazz saxophone at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.Since 2018\, Mathieu Najean has been based in Paris\, where he formed a septet to perform his compositions. In 2020\, he released his first album under his own name. The album “Panorama” by the Mat Najean Jazz Band was well received by critics.In 2023\, he released a second album of compositions\, this time in collaboration with New York singer Cait Jones.In 2024\, he released an album of quartet standards featuring vibraphonist Maxime Prébet as a guest. \n\n\n\n-Costs:*Party: EUR 15 (in cash) at the door OR online \n\n\n\nSuited up and elegant is the suggested dress code  \n\n\n\nVoluntary donations for the band are very much appreciated! \n\n\n\n“The Jazz Lobby” is situated in the unique monumental/art deco Kompaszaal\, that used to be the waiting hall of the Dutch Kings Steam Shipping Company. \n\n\n\nMore info & questions:www.jazzeventsamsterdam.com | jazzeventsamsterdam@gmail.com
