KZ is turning 5 years this year! We are dedicating a whole weekend to what KZ truly stands for: LIVE MUSIC, COMMUNITY, DANCE, LINDY HOP & CULTURE!!
SIMON & ARI will be here to inspire us! Three DIFFERENT BANDS and in total 18 Musicians will be playing for us! We will comfort your with good food and tasty drinks, as we like to take good care of our COMMUNITY! Count on couple of SURPRISES over the weekend!

KZ is not your regular small jazz cafe, KZ is an experience! This stunning Art-Deco ballroom with a terrace on het Ij has build a name, a name that stands for the best swing jazz in town and we all know it!
In a beautiful art-deco venue, you will get served the best Cocktails or Mocktails, get inspired by our JAZZ music and a huge dancefloor is waiting for you, so that the music can make your body move.Â

BLUES DANCING — is all about connection, musicality, expression, and feeling the music!
LOES & ASSIL, two of the grooviest dancers, will teach you all the basics of Blues dancing and make sure you’re dancing in no time!
This crash course is aimed at beginners, as we will break down all the fundamentals. But it’s also great for intermediate dancers — it’s always good to refresh your technique!
No partner needed — everyone dances with everyone, and everyone gets to lead and follow.
What is SWING for us? Swing dance is a way to express yourself, meet like-minded people, move to inspiring music, join a welcoming community, and do something good for your health – physically and mentally.

Each class gives you a feel for the dance so you can decide what suits you best.
Swing dance is a beautiful way to meet new people, share a fun experience with a friend, find community, enjoy great music & do something good for your body and mind.

SLOW SWING in MARCH Registration – Help us decide which DAY works the best! Swing Philosophy will hold a weekly Slow Swing Course in March.
On slower swing music you will learn basic fundamentals of Slow Swing dancing, about the Culture and most importantly learn how to build a dance connection with each other. Everyone leads and everyone follows – so everyone is dancing with everyone & no partner needed!
We offer two options for our Slow Swing Classes. Please register on the day you can, if both days are possible vote for the last option. The Course will take place on the day, which has the most registrations. In case it is not the day you chose, we will inform you and hopefully be able to provide another day soon.
