Lindy Hop is the perfect blend between meeting new friends, getting fitter and having fun! It’s an Afro-American dance full of rich history and amazing music.

In 3,5 hours (with breaks) we will teach you the basics of Lindy Hop and some fun moves which will get you dancing in no time.

About the band – Jansen & De Vries
Jansen & de Vries; two messed up white boys from the east- and southside. They knock out that good ‘ole hipshakingmusic from the 1940’s and 50’s. Come on down y’all and have a taste of that nice’n’sweet stuff while it’s still hot. Don’t worry if you’re left wanting for more, there’s still plenty where that came from!

Met de sfeer van een rokerige Chicago-
bluesclub uit de jaren ’50 betovert Blues Duo Jansen en de Vries het publiek. Mr. Jansen laat züjn mondharmonica huilen en zingen in de traditie van Little Walter, terwijl Mr. de Vries de oude Chicago-blues op gitaar beheerst, geinspireerd door grootheden als Robert Lockwood Jr. en Lightnin’ Hopkins.
Hun repertoire, doordrenkt met klassiekers uit de jaren ’40 en ’50 van Chicago en Memphis, omarmt ook vergeten juweeltjes.
Authentiek in stijl, van muziek tot kleding, spelen ze op instrumenten en apparatuur uit de vervlogen tijd. Jansen en de Vries – de belichaming van tijdloze blues, verpakt in elegantie en klasse.

LIGHTNIN’ BUG is an all-star lineup. Martin and Donné are the drummer and bassist for bands like the well-known band T-99. Danny, my father, was the guitarist for many American blues artists who toured here, such as Louisiana Red and Boyd Small.
